Of all the great libraries there are
and all their books within
cannot compare with heaven’s books
and the things written therein

for God the Father has one book
whose value passes all
which billions placed their trust in it
since man had caused the fall

now holds a book the Book of Life
where names are written down
for those who made the choice to come
to the cross where they’re found

His promise for eternal life
through Jesus Christ His Son
whose blood was shed for every sin
Who died for everyone

salvation through the act of faith
the Lamb’s book has each name
recorded by the hand of God
for those of glory’s gain

to be a part of that great book
believing is the key
which unlocks one’s faith toward God
who someday one will see

worshipping with praises of joy
forever they will shine
recorded names found in His book
reveals His grace divine
